They've made some questionable decisions, but overall they're a good district with some good people, I've had a pretty average experience that could've been better but could've been worse
I enjoyed it. Some teachers were less than perfect, but I had a good time there and I would recommend
It was very good. Teachers made it fun to learn and I learned a lot. I also enjoyed participating in athletics.
Overall I feel like there were a lot of opportunities to do things in school as well as outside of school. The teachers are good, however some could be better. Also, if you are looking for a challenge, Holt Senior High School provides many challenging AP and honors classes as well as some challenging electives.
Holt was a good school with a lot of opportunities but those opportunities were not easily provided.
I liked my experience at the school. The school is very accepting and supportive of students with different identities, although the students can be less so. There is a LINK class for students who need extra help to have a student partner with them in some of their classes.
overall I have enjoyed my experience at Holt High School so far and I am excited for the years i have left at this school.
Great teachers who really want to help you learn. Senior campus is great for college readiness. Great band program.
Overall, I would say that Holt High School is a good school. The teachers and staff are all willing to help you if you need any assisstance. The student body is also pretty diverse! However, most clubs and sports don't get any attention fron the school board except for football which is expected but still.
The Staff and most of the students are very helpful welcoming people and will help anyone in need. the one thing I would like to see change is how most people dont stand up to bullies because they are all scared. I would like to see something done about that because our school has lost to many good kids due to bullying.
Not necessarily the generic high school experience, to each their own enjoyment. Every teacher is different but the majority are enjoyed by all. School can fail to put funds where it's needed but the community can be as good as you make it. The sports are amazing
My experience at holt senior high school has been good. The teachers i had were caring and teached. Some teachers i had didnt teach at all and seemed like they didnt care. The senior campus is really nice and calming, which is great when coming out of a stressful class. The main campus is loud and annoying during passing time. The school put in a no phone policy which to me isnt great because before when i was a junior once i was done with my work i would go on my phone and wait or if i need help and the teacher is busy i will look it up on my phone. Now as a senior i cant do that and i feel it has impacted my learning. I still cam pay attention either way and get the knowledge that i need
Holt High School is overall a decent school to attend although some of the students that go there are a little bit weird and there is the occasional fight.
I like how Holt High School has all different elective choices we can take and some actually prepare us for life after high school. I thought that most of the teachers are good and really nice. They want to see us succeed in life. I have noticed that our school seems to be pretty safe. Sometimes I feel that it can be a little over-safe. I have seen that this school wants parents to get involved with their kid’s education. Teachers have made this clear with what resources they use and provide the parents.
It was pretty good. Some of the staff is not as qualified but none the less is a great place to go. The teachers (for the most part) really do wanna see you succeed.
My experience with Holt High School was not up to expectations. Bullying was a huge problem. Academics were ok but some teachers didn’t prepare us for college at all.
Compared to the other nearby schools, my high school is actual a very good fit. They offer dual enrollment and trade school programs to help students prepare for their desired career path. It a decently open and inviting school and has a good environment for students to learn. If you wanted to get ahead in classes, the counselors make it extremely difficult. My algebra 1 credit wouldn't transfer because our school has Algebra AB so I had to retake the class. If one wanted to seek other opportunities to try and get ahead academically, he or she would have to research it themselves. Overall it is a decent school and I am glad to be a part of it.
