Holt Senior High School Reviews
Rating 3.63 out of 5 271 reviews
Attending Holt High School was not necessarily a bad experience for me personally. However, over the past few years, there have been many fights have taken place and many lockdowns due to threats. Even through the Covid years, teachers at Holt have been able to adapt very well to all the adversity that came with the changes. I have been able to thrive at this school by making new friends and being able to talk to my teachers.
I liked the cleanliness of Holt high school and how there are two separate campuses. At first, I didn't like the idea of a senior campus, but now I really enjoy it. They offer a lot of AP and honors classes for the kids who want the challenge. I think one thing that could be changed is the connection between teachers and students. I had a few very amazing teachers throughout my four years here, but I also had some where I just dreaded going into their class. The difference between the teachers I liked and teachers I didn't like was simply their involvement with the students. Overall, I enjoyed my high school experience at Holt.
Overall, I had a good experience at Holt High School. My teachers were always very supportive, whether their teaching style correlated with my learning style or not. If I was ever having any difficulty, I always knew several teachers I would feel comfortable talking to. Holt High School also had many opportunities for clubs, so everyone could find a group they could feel close with.
