The kindergarten staff is terrible I do not recommend you send your child to that school they are rude they do not say good morning when you bring your child to school in the morning they are just rude and I do not recommend anyone send their child especially not your kindergarten who is going to have their first experience
This school has a uniform dress code as all public schools for this county does. They do have a dress code and bullying policy in place. There is also an attendance policy in place which would involve a truancy officer if students miss too many days from school. These policy are given to parents during registration and parents do sign the form acknowledging they have been made aware of the policies in place.
They have a library, band, computer lab, adequate buses, after school program, Pre K program, etc. Lots of extending learning opportunities or extracurricular activities, band, majorettes, choir, chess club, etc.
I really like the design of the building. We had just moved into the neighborhood when this school was built. They had a PreK hall, kindergarten hall, first grade, second, third and fifth grade hall. Therefore students were with their peers and age group most of the day. The principal has a general concern for the safety and well being of the students. All the children love him. He's a disciplinary when he needs to be yet he's gentle as a lamb.
My daughter was in the school choir and she was a majorette. These programs provided her additional FUN times to build her social skills.
There pre kindergarten program supplied her with the bases needed for kindergarten. Colors, ABC, counting, shapes,
Parents and other family members on an approved list can only pick the child up. ID must be shown. All children a dropped off at the front of the school and traffic flows one way.
