I have some opinions on this school and most of the teachers I’ve known, most of them are the sweetest teachers I’ve met and aren’t that harsh on students for example there’s one teacher which I won’t mention the name of, they were the most known for being harsh and you had be on their good side in order to not get yelled in-front of everyone which is pure embarrassment, most students disliked that teacher like if you got that teacher you were in the most stressful 9-10 months there unless your classes were changed midway during the months. Other than that I enjoyed the school. But I feel it could have more representation with other cultures other than Hispanic counties, since I’m Hispanic and I feel there should be more representation with other cultures so more students of any heritages can feel they belong here.
Holmes is fine. It's middle school, so it's nothing special. There are a few really great teachers that are amazing. Otherwise, it's very average and boring.
I went here in the sixth grade and had a not so great experience. Overall it was fine but I had a lot of issues with kids being needlessly rude to me. I was going through a lot of financial issues and it didn't help to come to school with a bunch of people who made me feel unwelcome.
The students were always rude. I had a few friends but overall I felt like the outcast among the students and I felt like I wasn't even there.
The teachers did absolutely nothing to make me feel more welcomed. I can't honestly think of a single teacher that made me feel good about going there. Maybe the music teacher, I remember she was pretty cool. But I missed a few days of school due to a lot going on in my life and I remember teachers being rude about it.
Overall it's mostly the fault of the students in the school, and some of the teachers were really not cool. But besides that I don't really remember much else of the school. It just wasn't a good experience. 1.5/5

It's OK overall, not bad by any stretch of the imagination. Facilities are nice, teachers are professional and know how to deal with kids. We had some problems with bullying which the principal resolved promptly. They have a great on-line program that you can use to see if your student is completing their homework.
I liked the teachers here a lot. You could tell they really cared for students. However, school culture among students was not that great and not that welcoming.
