Holly Springs High School Reviews
Rating 3.31 out of 5 75 reviews
Holly Springs High School is entirely too focused on the wrong things. We are given deadlines for important events late and the students are still expected to do what we are supposed to do on short notice. We were pressured into signing up for the ACT, but they gave the waivers to the students too late and the student would not have been able to take it at the school because all the seats were filled. The school does have amazing teachers that you can talk to at times.
Holly Springs high school focused more on ACT than anything. That test is something you can't teach. I understand that it's a big deal and a high score determines what college you'll go to, but they failed to teach students how to write. Before Northwest, I didn't know what APA or MLA format was. That's how unprepared I was for college. The curriculum at Holly Springs High School is not challenging at all. You could miss a week of school and come back and pass a test without studying at all. The curriculum needs to drastically improve.
Holly Springs High School has a high teaching skills. It has most of the classes that are relevant to us in the future. It has a caring principle. It’s has a strike uniform policy.
