Holly High School is a very good school, while focusing on academics and sport opportunities. Holly High School provides many AP classes and honors classes, which are very helpful for the students. Majority of the teachers are nice and qualified for the classes they teach, they are always willing to help students and provide good explanations for any student's question. The administration is very good and is always looking out for the best with their students, they always make safety a priority and keep the students prepared for any situation. Sports at Holly High are very good and many students participate and succeed in the sports provided. The Fine Arts programs also excel and continuously score high in their Festival competitions. Overall, Holly High School is a good school when thinking of the academics and programs, the students may not be as great.

The academics can be quite challenging, provided students take honors level classes or AP. Standard classes are quite basic, yet they cover the necessary content. Additionally, HHS has recently started using weighted GPAs, so AP classes are encouraged. Furthermore, a variety of clubs are offered. This list includes NJHS, Rho Kappa, SNHS, Spanish Club, Bible Club, student council, and others. Co-curricular activities are also highly regarded, with choir, leadership, and band being the most notable. As for sports, our athletics are fairly good, with our tennis program being one of the best in the state.
However, our diversity is decidedly average. In higher level classes, particularly honors and AP, minority students comprise only a 10th of the classroom.*

*This is a generous estimate; the top ten students for the class of 2017 were all Caucasian
I have attended Holly schools my whole life, although high school is not the best time in everyone's life, the people in the school made it a wonderful experience for me. I loved the leadership program and the art program. I was given the opportunity and experience of holding responsibility through leadership that prepared me for college. I found teachers who became my mentors who pushed me to be my very best. AP and honor courses were available to also help me prepare for college and to give me a challenge.
