The bathrooms are too small. There are some teachers that are lacking, especially new teachers. The AP teachers are absolutely amazing. The sports programs are amazing. The counselors are awesome and very helpful. This school doesn't offer the IB program which is a big downside. The lunches are okay, and sophomores and up get to go off campus. The neighborhoods surrounding are beautiful. The students are friendly but don't often branch out to new students.

Holland High School has changed my life for the better. The diversity has changed my world view as well as my perspective on public schools. The learning I growth I experienced in High school happened because I was in a public school. I am forever thankful that I attended Holland High. Academics challenged me, I was involved in a wonderful sports program, and the teachers acted as mentors for me. I always felt absolutely safe in Holland High's environment and although the food and administration needs work, everything else about the school makes up for it.
My experience at Holland High School was better than I ever could have asked for. The district academically has been in the top 100 in the state numerous times, and the faculty is very helpful. The diversity at the school is what really make Holland High so unique. It helps bring together many students who normally would not affiliate with each other, and helps them create a strong bond. Without even hesitating I would recommend Holland Public Schools to everyone.
