Holbrook Junior/Senior High School Reviews

I am very grateful to be attending such a recently-built school. The school has a little less than 600 students throughout all the grades, so that makes it easy to make friends. Our sports teams are good and we have the opportunity for cheerleading as well. In terms of faculty, there has been a teacher shortage in our school especially, but many schools are suffering from that problem around the nation. I generally feel very safe in school and our school is much more diverse than others.
The school has many inconsistencies within the administration. When authority figures argue with each other, it's difficult to understand what's allowed and what is not. Some faculty bring effort and enthusiasm, some enforce no rules, and some enforce to a T.
It’s a small town so we have a smaller budget. This means we have less AP classes, less electives, and less extracurricular activities. Over the past years we’ve had many teachers quit or be fired. There is not many field trip opportunities, but we are a diverse school with a tight-knit community.
