I loved the teachers. They were very helpful in my academic decisions for college and graduate school.
I was very involved in sports. Basketball was my favorite. The coaches were demanding but effective. Our girls varsity basketball team went to states for the first time in over 10 years!
The campus is easy to navigate. The school is not very large but does have lots of signs directing you to where you need to be.
I was involved with the French club. My senior year we went to Quebec. It was wonderful! I was also a member of the Honors society. Those friendships created were life long.

I really liked that Holbrook schools are so small and close knit, it creates a great experience when you know everyone. Also with less students in classes it makes for one on one time with teachers, which makes it easier to get extra help if needed. One thing I think Holbrook schools should change is to let the older students have a study period where they could do homework or prepare for their next class.
The experience in that school was okay. It was small, but there were enough people that it felt like a regular school. They had a pretty nice cafeteria, and I never complained about the food, but really, I should have been, because they would reuse scraps to make food sometimes. Also, there is a lot of drama there, and although there is pretty good discipline, it is not personal enough to make the children who feel unloved stop their behavior. I actually probably would have done well to stay, the curriculum motivated me and I had a few friends who knew me since kindergarten. But I had decided to leave because the hustle and puff of the old life I had was too much for me.
