Hoboken High School Reviews

Hoboken High School is more than a school, it's a family. The faculty and staff truly care for the students and invest both in their education and preparing them for their next steps in life. Hoboken High School is inclusive to all and students are encouraged by teachers and fellow students to get involved in extracurricular activities outside of the classroom. The academic program offerings are impressive and the guidance department is outstanding. Hoboken High is a very special place and I am proud that my child is a Redwing!
I transferred to Hoboken High School in December of my Sophomore year. I am now a Junior, and so I’ve been here for a little over a year. Even as an awkward trans girl, I’ve made some really good friends here. The teachers and faculty are very nice and respectful, and I’ve been able to make a full academic 180 in a positive way. As far as public schools go, the building is pretty nice and clean. The only complaint I have is with some certain students who are less than pleasant to be around. However, I do understand it’s often because of a bad home life or economic issues, sometimes both. Fortunately I have been able to avoid being a target of bullying or harassment, but I can see how that can really hurt someone’s school experience. I’ve enjoyed my time at Hoboken High School. I really appreciate that I have been able to grow, take academic challenges, and learn how to become more social.
To be honest, it's pretty good. The athletic programs are good. The school spirit events are really fun! Just good positive vibes throughout. Good Teaching staff that offers help if needed. And somewhat diverse. School lunch could be better though.
