Throughout my years at Hingham Public Schools I have faced harsh challenges. Including; bullying, lack of diversity, and some unintentional racism. But, because of it all it has made me a better person. At this school they take pride in supporting advanced students, and students that need a little extra help. As the new generations of students come and go, teachers update their curriculum and activities to engage all students. Their work is informative, but not demanding. And the teachers are willing to stay after school or for lunch to work on topics that you might not understand. Despite the aforementioned challenges, I would not leave this school if I was forced. The academics are college-worthy, and Hingham Middle School is definitely teaching for a better future.
Hingham Middle School offers a warm and welcoming place to receive a middle school education. The vibe is always positive and the staff members are very caring and always available to every student. Students can always seek help for academic or personal guidance in a caring environment. There are so many fun activities for the students to participate in. It really feels like one big happy family!
My son had a good experience. I think the school lacks spirit and could work on having more social options for the kids.
