As a student, I felt in some cases I was limited to my best potential. For example, going from seventh grade to eighth grade, I was incorrectly placed into my math class. I was placed in a level one class out of four levels, when I should have been in a level three to four. Once the faculty realized, I was removed from the course and enrolled in the accurate class I should have been in from the start of the school year. With this being said, I was behind and lacked confidence in my math abilities. Additionally, there was an English teacher that would mock students errors on spelling and vocabulary tests. While the school itself had many opportunities, there definitely were setbacks that could be improved.
