Hillside Junior High School Reviews

1 review
The diversity and culture of the school as a whole along with the incredible students made Hillside a fun place to be. Everyone knew each other and most students were friendly to everyone they saw. The academics were advanced, as they offered math classes 2 years ahead and one AP class for junior high/freshman students. The school was small, so teachers knew you well and could help you get through many difficulties, whether school related or otherwise. The one downside is the building. It was never built to be permanent. In fact it was designed to be a temporary school to deal with the overflow of other schools for a few years. But despite that it was kept up and running for decades, and the poor quality is very obvious. However, a new gym and cafeteria have been built, and within the next 10 years the entire building is supposed to be demolished, with a new and much improved one going up in its place.
