Hillsdale Academy Reviews
Rating 4.48 out of 5 27 reviews
I came to Hillsdale Academy my freshman year not knowing a single person or a single thing about the school and the community. I am now a senior and have spent the last 4 years of my life at the greatest school and with the greatest people I know. The purpose of a Hillsdale Academy education is to cultivate children to live lives of virtue and wisdom, to seek truth in a world full of confusion, to understand and strive for what is excellent in this life. I come out of this school as a better person than I was before. Not only has my education here bettered my understanding of the world, my time in the sports program has made me a mentally and physically stronger person. My coaches and teammates helped me discover a new passion and push myself to be more than I thought I was capable of. Finally, I have found friends, classmates, teachers, and alumni, who I believe will last for a life time and encourage me to improve myself every day. This school is the best.
My daughter attends Hillsdale Academy. When we moved to the area I was desperate to find her a decent enough school to attend. I toured 8 different seemingly good options in the area. When I toured Hillsdale Academy, it was HANDS-DOWN the best fit for our family. I was very impressed with not only the curriculum, but I honestly could not find a thing wrong. My daughter is in her second year of attendance at Hillsdale Academy. I have no regrets whatsoever in choosing Hillsdale Academy. Public Schools are mandated by Common Core and many other, in my opinion, negative, attributes. They teach cursive handwriting, and much MUCH more. My daughter is learning French, in the first grade! It is worth EVERY PENNY, her future is priceless. I am rest-assured I am providing the best educational opportunity I can knowing how this school has improved her learning and her future.
Hillsdale Academy is an incredible private school that really strives to prepare its students not only for college but for their lives as well. There they provide a well-rounded education kindergarten through twelfth grade. Since it is also a Christian school I love how it pushes its students to love and give thanks to God for all the numerous blessings He provides. One thing I would like to see more of from the Academy is more sport options.
