As a legacy child of the school, I've been involved in this school for as long as I can remember. I've attended this school since kindergarten, and I'm fixing to graduate this year. Over the 13 years I've been here, it's changed quite a lot. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. The staff is always very friendly and are prepared to help you in every situation. And, being a Christian school, it's very centered around Christian-Judaeo principles and a personal relationship with God. However, a major flaw with the curriculum is that it often ends up just too much on the Christian lifestyle and worldview and not enough on the actual education, especially on real world skills and requirements. It also has a lack of extracurricular activities, such as music, shop classes, and home economics, for the middle and high school students.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to be in middle school and high school. The faculty and fellow students were (and still are) like family, and the curriculum was challenging enough to toughen anyone up. There's also a heavy involvement with the next-door church that the school is partnered with, and there is a good amount of focus on building students up to be strong, spiritual leaders. It isn't perfect, and no school is, but there is genuine effort put into the teaching here both academically and practically to make sure every student is given the tools they need to succeed in a big way when they graduate.
Hill Country Christian School is a blessing to our family, my children and this community. The administration is committed not only to education but also the students relationship with Christ.
