This place in the past was the best of all if you see the history of this place and now look at it some think that its improving well the teachers are but not the students. the students and parents are starting to give up hope but if we work together and form a team to improve, not just the community but our selves then you will see the true spirit of us Scots, we are the Scots! The more we try the better we become the more we help others the more they will help us! So if you want that music class up and running again or the work shop class then lets show this school of what we can be! Lets show them what the Scots are meant to be! Gather more friends, find those who are willing to learn how to play the instruments, then form up into a new music class, we are the last chance last hope of rebuilding our Scots passion, I know that we can become something instead of wasting our time, and wasting our lives over stupid things.

My high school experience is pretty boring, and lame. There aren't enough clubs that are fun/interesting. The lunch food is unhealthy. Sometimes students get moldy/spoiled food. The AC's and heaters either don't work in most classrooms, or constantly need fixing. In the computer lab there's always 3-4 computers that don't work in each room. There should be more electives like Home Ec, Fashion, and Drivers Ed. There should be more field trips to colleges for the juniors and seniors. I'm now a senior and I've only ever been on 2 college tours with the school. One in 8/2017 and the second in 3/2018. The school has trash everywhere; very dirty. The bathrooms are very old looking, and dirty. The school should be better maintained. Most of these problems are due to the fact that the school is poor. The students constantly come up with great ideas, and fun events for the school but they usually get rejected by the vice principal just because she doesn't like them.
In Highlands there are good educational courses and its a safe school. The heaters and air conditioners in the classrooms should be fixed. Its so cold outside but unfortunately even though we're in the classroom we're still freezing our butts off because the heaters don't work. Same goes for summer, in some classes the AC doesn't work and it has to be constantly fixed. The school lunch sucks too. Always the same unhealthy food. Sometimes we get expired milk, carrot packets, and or apple packets. The electives are boring too. The only electives I think are worth while are art, digital media, and photography. I'd love to see electives that include cooking, fashion, and driving lessons.
