I am now starting my fifteenth year of attending Highlands Christian Academy. I have enjoyed my experience here at HCA. The school has a great environment, and the teachers actually care for the education of their students. They will sit down one-on-one with any student and make sure they understand the information being taught. The school has many extra curricular activities for the students to partake in. The down side of the school is that it is a pretty small environment and there are not as many courses as you would find in a public school. Besides that, Highlands Christian Academy is the school to be at.

Highlands Christian Academy is a private school, which strives to teach its students about pressing education but most importantly the divine working of our savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. HCA is dedicated to helping and caring for children of any age and ensuring that their education will produce successful fruit in the students future endeavors.
I attended HCA when I was in second grade, all the way through 10th grade. I really never thought much about my education and if it was a higher education than those attending other schools in the area. Yes, there are students that don't care about learning, and there are also those that strive to be at the top of their class. I see that some of my teachers are still there! Mr. Smith and Mr. Lopez are both past teachers/principles of mine. I remember that I was transferred into a public school for 11th-12th grade. When I got into the public school system, I literally laughed at what these kids were learning!! I was YEARS ahead of them. At that time, I started not going to class, and still graduated, my last year of high school, I joined a program at my school that allowed me to work 11 am to 7 pm every day at Holy Cross hospital. I graduated and immediately after earned my cosmetology license and then started college right away. I now have a five year old daughter, who I will be sending to Highlands Christian Academy. I am positive in my decision, as I have looks at practically ALL of the school options available, including homeschooling. I do think that the prices are extremely high, but it is okay, I have been paying the college tuition price for her pre-school already. I definitely recommend this school to others.
