Your experience at this school depends on who you are. If you are white, straight, rich, and conservative then by all means this is the school for you. But if that isn’t you look elsewhere.
Academics are better than average but still lacking. Diversity needs a lot of work. Bullying and cheating runs rampant. There’s a drug problem here and at the high school. Teachers are overall good and care about their jobs. This school will prepare you for college well. Clubs aren’t really a thing and sports are the only thing people care about. Administration doesn’t care about bullying whatsoever. The facilities are nice. Food is pretty good just really unhealthy like a lot of schools. STEM is lacking, mostly in science. Arts are underrated and people are bullied for involvement.
Overall an ok school for some, but not for a lot of people.

This school had great teachers but they didn't handle bullying very well. My son was bullied by 8th graders yet the teachers did not do very much to stop it. The students did receive repercussions but they were just a slap on the wrist. As a dad of a autistic son, the troubles I go through are many. This is one of them and this should not happen.
Teachers were extremely attentive to developing and preparing students for high school. The standards are extremely high because the high school is extremely difficult, which helps prepare very bright students, but can be damaging to students with learning disabilities or students who don't devote much time to school. Overall, a fantastic school!
