HPE is an awesome school. It has improved in its curriculum. More than the school, it is the the students that matter, that make it a better school. The students who are curious enough to be thirsty for knowledge are the ones that succeed in education; the school doesn't really make a difference, especially an elementary school. However, HPE does have good opportunities and does provide good programs- 5th and 6th graders have the opportunity to participate in a musical, and are given to choice to participate in band, choir, or orchestra.

I went to Highland Park elementary for my entire elementary school career. I absolutely loved it and began a good education there. I am now hoping to major in education because of the good experience I began there.
