Overall, Hidden Valley High School is a considerably well off school. In comparison to the other high schools in my area, Hidden valley's education and student performance is of a higher caliber, and the facilities are of adequate quality. However, the motivation in a handful of teachers is, in my opinion, sub-par. Though this characteristic goes to be present in many, if not all, schools, I consider there to be a surplus of this type of teacher in mine. Thus, many classes are spent on watered down assignments and projects that do not entirely relate to the subject matter at hand. If this problem was addressed, perhaps through a discussion of pay, I predict that the efficiency of Hidden Valley High School would significantly rise.

I enjoyed the academics and extracurriculars of Hidden Valley High School that i sought to be involved in. However, there is a culture surrounding the school where many students do not care about school spirit or involvment, which makes for sports activities and spirit activities to be weak and have low participation. Certain AP courses were very rigorous and academically challenging in a positive way, but it was a select few. I wish there were more AP courses offered to younger students.
Overall, Hidden Valley High School is a wonderful school. From the staff to the other students the entire school is a friendly environment. From my experience as a freshman all the way to now, being a senior, it's been a very educational ride. I have learned many things and made multiple friends. I have met many teachers and each one has taught me a valuable lesson along the way. Now as I transition my way into college, the staff here at Hidden Valley has been extremely helpful to me in my journey on becoming a better man and student in my future en-devours.
