Hidden Oaks Middle School Reviews

3 reviews
Hidden Oaks is decent school. I liked all but one two or three of my teachers in the three years I spent there; they were nice and engaging. There were opportunities to take honors classes for more advanced students to gain higher credits early, which is where most of my classes were from. HOMS had a nice sized library and two computer rooms in the back where you could print stuff and do research. As for subject-specific resources, the music, art, reading, and science classes all had what they needed, and what they didn't was obtained though class-specific and school-wide fundraising. HOMS had spirit weeks, class competitions and the annual book fair and reading field day. HOMS had decent safety, with gates covering the front and side entrance and an officer patrolling the grounds. The food was average, but the lunch lady was kind enough to lend you a quarter or two to pay back if you came up short. N/A ratings are for things I didn't participate in/don't remember.

Friendly environment, teachers wanting to help
Academics are decent. Behavioral issues are extremely bad. Do not fall for the Palm City schools are excellent thing. These kids are unruly and nothing is done about it .
