I loved attending Hialeah Senior High. I graduated in 2017, went there all four year, so I saw most of the changes first hand. Because it's so close to Miami Dade, the Dual Enrollment opportunities are endless! I'd definitely recommend if planning to go to college. The magnet program is amazing, FOR ALL ARTS! If you're not Hispanic or comfortable around many Hispanics, Hialeah may not be the school for you. Everyone from students to staff to administrators is either Hispanic (mostly cuban). Some great teachers: Jenkins (History/Psychology), Soto (History/Government), Trillas (English), Herrera (Statistics/Geometry), Portella (Chemistry), and Johnson (Physical Education).

I loved the culture and the atmosphere when i attended this school. There was respect for the past and the history of the school. Would've liked for there to be more involvement with the history of the school, but I think there definitely was a respect for the past. I also love the school pride. Nothing yells out school pride more than rival football games, and spirit week!
Hialeah High School is known to be a "bad" school but it actually offers students a lot of opportunities. The teachers there are always willing to help students, even if it's to repeat the same subject over and over again. The teachers I had were always very enthusiastic with their teaching and encouraged students to participate in class. According to school spirit, Hialeah High had a very high amount of it. There were always something going on, either a club had a show, the football team was playing or we were having a work shop about jobs during lunch time. I have to say, I wouldn't want to go to any other school if I was still in high school.
