I graduated Hialeah Gardens Senior High in June 2017. I can say that this school was extremely amazing. All the administrators radiated such a positive and supportive ambience. This educational facility has numerous amounts of electives that one can pick from. It includes cooking, early child hood, mechanic, art, sculpturing, photography, and MANY MORE ELECTIVES! It is such a safe environment for children and all teachers are extremely attentive of students. So many activities and clubs as well! Many field trip opportunities as well! This high school is AMAZING!
Hialeah Gardens High School offers a variety of academies, ranging from law studies to biomedicine, that help prepare students beyond the walls of the school system. Students can even become NAFTrack certified and earn credentials before graduating. In addition, there are a plethora of extracurricular activities to choose from that allow students to cultivate their passions outside of the classroom. Furthermore, this school is certified by Cambridge University, a world-renowned academic program that provides advanced classes accredited on a global scale. Although most teachers are average at best, there are a couple teachers that go above and beyond to ensure that we are cultivating our maximum potential. Nevertheless, although the administration touts this school as "one of the best schools in the country", it is far from being perfect. The administration in this school is oftentimes dismissive of the student body to the point of being tyrannical. Our voices are often suppressed.
Hialeah Gardens is an excellent school with many programs for students to engage in. The school is separated into academies to satisfy the interests and passion of its students. These academies range from education and agriculture to biomedical, engineering, and the fine arts as well. The teachers are also very involved with their students and administration such as the principal takes time out of their day to help all parents and students who need it. What is truly amazing about this school is that all the academies have college and work prep courses so that when one graduates, they can easily find a job in their field of interest. Finally, the school offers a wide variety of clubs and sports for its students to explore their hobbies and get a better sense of community and support. This school is excellent in all its aspects and I recommend it to anyone who lives near to attend it for a great chance to succeed in life.
