Gardens is a great school with a couple of flaws. The structure and the concept of the school itself is extremely effective and an outstanding way to teach students how to strive towards their careers but Gardens needs to work a little better when it comes to organization, communication and flexibility with their students. As far as the teachers and the academy goes, most teachers are outstanding but the best teachers there are, without doubt, Ms. Law and Mr. Garrido. Administration is good but they make planning field trips and other educational activities difficult to plan out. Although we have our flaws there are many people that do work hard and deserve recognition such as Dr. Rodriguez and Ms. Gonzalez, Mr. Nehme and Mr. Espinosa, and Mr. Napoles.
Review Hialeah Gardens Senior High School
Hialeah Gardens Senior High School is an excellent high school for preparing one's self for the challenges of colleges and universities. The teachers really put their best efforts to make every child succeed in school as well for their future. I also love the programs they have for students to have them standout from the rest of their peers worldwide. AICE, AP, and Honors classes are increasing each year giving the youth many priorities. The only change that I would like to see in the school is replacing a low percentage of the teachers that are not well qualified for teaching, instructing, and giving knowledge to the young generation with high quality professors that are willing to commit to doing just that. Hialeah Gardens Senior High School is one of the best schools in the nation or probably the best in the nation for a student to seek quality education and benefits.
What I like about this Hialeah Gardens is the social aspect of the school and the fact of the academics are put first. There is a lot of clubs to join where you can meet new people and anyone can join the clubs even if they do not have the experience or know about the club itself. Some of the teachers are excellent at their jobs and they are willing to help the students improve and pass their class. However, the administration is almost non-existent in my school. You have to go out of your way to get what you need. The resources are outdated and are pretty much useless, sometimes you have to waste your own money to be ahead of the curriculum. There is not much parent involvement in the school only for certain clubs like band.
