My two kids are having a great experience at H. H. Garnet Elementary (it's actually Garnet, not with 2 t's, named after a local educator). The class sizes are small so my kids get individualized attention. My third grader's teacher even has her enjoying math this year. The teachers use an app to communicate with me often, even just to say if the kids had a good day or a bad day or to share a story. There are lots of activities and they work regularly with the library and KidSPOT creativity center to offer programs. They also have family activity nights often, like STEM night where we worked with our kids to build towers and bridges or "One Book One School" where everyone in the school gets to read a book at home together then they do activities related to it. I can't say enough great things. The school is awesome!
