Herndon High School is highly diverse public school located in Fairfax County. During my years at Herndon high, there has been ongoing construction and renovation, projected to finish in 2020. Throughout the last for years, ongoing renovation has led my high school experience to be interesting and different. The newly constructed library offers a space to study and be productive. The extracurriculars offered at Herndon have something exciting for everyone. Starting from student activists leading a vegan club, to student athletes in the tennis club, after school extracurriculars are able to enhance any students high school experience. Students are encouraged to succeed, no matter their circumstances, which is shown by the various resources the school offers. The school understands students from Herndon High School come from different backgrounds, and their journey to their success may be different.

Diverse classrooms with a beautiful up and coming campus. So exited to see the results of the full renovations in the near future! Plus, teachers are highly qualified and understanding of students' needs.
Herndon High is a diverse environment where everyone is welcomed. The school is very strict on punctuality and attendance, so it can get students ready for the future with whatever business or occupation they choose. The one thing I would change about Herndon would be allowing all the racial backgrounds to be celebrated. It’s such a diverse but it’s noticed and looked away. We celebrate each other’s backgrounds and learn more about communicating with others ethnicity, then just our owns. Also one thing we really suck at is school spirit, no one ever participated in the spirit weeks. But I still love my school because not everyone child that lives in the United States gets the opportunity to grow up with so many cultures, religions, and nationalities in one location.
