COVID-19 Update for Prospective Students and Families:
We are optimistic that restrictions will not be in place next year as the current conditions continue to improve. Last year Heritage Christian Academy remained in person for the whole year with few interruptions. We are confident that we will continue to offer five day a week in person learning for 2021-22.

Heritage Christian Academy is not a welcome environment. There is an extreme lack of communication and intelligence both among students and many members of the staff. Their diversity is near non-existent. Of those who show promise, much bullying and harassment by both teachers and students will most definitely occur. The one Asian who does attend is constantly reminded of her short stature, near the point of harassment. However, what they lack in intelligence, they do not make up in appearance. The dress code is extremely worrisome. It dictates that certain apperal is distracting to teachers but this apperal is not distracting to students. Certain teachers, however, are decent and preform their job without incident.
Our daughter expressed to us that she wanted a change of environment (from her public school) and Heritage has provided exactly what she needed. She had gone to a public school since she was in preschool. But the high school atmosphere became too much for her. We visited Heritage and our daughter knew this was where she wanted to be. She has been challenged academically as well as spiritually. I have seen her grow in her relationship with Christ and has started to develop friendships that she has much needed! The staff and administration have been very helpful since our switch and we can't say enough great things about this school!
I enjoyed the staff at Heritage. They were always available to help students even outside of class time. The community of students at Heritage was also amazing. Everyone was supportive and came to watch athletic events and cheer their classmates on. The class sizes were typically under 20 which allowed the teachers and students to get to know each other and created a space for learning to be more hands on. If students were struggling with something, teachers would be able to quick work with them one-on-one or reexplain something to the class. There were many event throughout the school year to get students involved. We would have a themed volleyball game each year, a fall score event, homecoming in the winter, and various small events throughout the school year. We would do two spirit weeks each year and it would entail a week of competitions between the high school students.
