Herbert A. Ammons is a wonderful school and offers great program. The IB program allows the students to learn more about other cultures. I took AP Spanish in 8th grade and it was one of the best decisions, especially because the spanish teachers were spectacular. Every year, i got 5's on every end of year exams because of the wonderful staff at the school. They should provide more clubs for students though.

Daughter is leaving this year and I'll miss it. Nice school with nice kids and good solid teachers. Still has an active media center with a librarian which she took full advantage of (unlike most middle schools.) Administrative team is supportive and kind. The only bad thing about the school is the building itself. They will move in a few years, but for now it's all portable classrooms- no real buildings.

Loved the school environment and change the location. Maybe fundraise to afford buildings and better looking school.

Overall good school, however, some of the school’s rules are very strict and the IB program & all the homework stress students, a lot.

I attended this middle school. And my overall experience was great, loved my teachers, the staff and the school. Awesome experience i will forever be an Eagle at heart.

To be honest, it was a pretty average school. In the beginning, everyone tried really hard and it was a nerd fest, I guess (which is a good thing), but in the end, I was more excited to get out of the school and into high school then I should’ve been.

This is a really good school. I was lucky to get accepted to this school and was very proud to be in it. It's diversity and clubs ran from the school are amazing
