Henry James is great with students who have learning disabilities or struggle with other issues. The school also emphasizes building good character and kindness, and tries it’s best to be accepting and diverse. There are many clubs and activities after school and late buses for after school activities. Middle school sucks but HJMS sucks a little bit less

Henry James is an average middle school that relys on the “ reputation “ of Simsbury public school system. The proficiency scores do not equate to a top tier education. Nearby towns such as Avon offer better educational environment and perform better . The property taxes are also much lower than Simsbury that has one of the highest property tax rates in the state
Good middle school, prepares you well for high school! There isn't much diversity, but the art and music there is great
