Henry Ford Early College is one of the best schools I have ever been to. It is a 5-year program where you take some college classes during your sophomore and junior years! By the time you are a senior, you have full-time college classes and buildings to go to from one segment to another. Also, sophomores and freshman have the opportunity to job shadow at the Henry Ford Hospital and learn more about the medical programs! Henry Ford Early College also has a manufacturing side, where if you are looking to be an engineer, this is the place to go! By the time you finish your 13th year, you only have to do TWO years of college if you are transferring to one! There are many different types of people and they welcome each and every single person with respect and honor. They also have many volunteering options like cleaning up the community college campus! Overall, I am very happy with the overall experience I am getting at the Henry Ford Early College

Henry Ford Early College allows students to get a head start on their college classes an credits as well as a head start on life. The experience provided by the environment of an actual college is nearly as valuable as the education itself. The counselors guide students through the processes while ensuring their independent action as well. While there are no sports clubs directly associated with the school, the natural high school experience isn't diminished at all, either. This is a great school for those who are dedicated to their educations.
The teachers are very encouraging and most try their best to help you succeed. I would also says taking college classes helps you a lot in preparing for life and if you know what you’re doing, it helps you get ahead. A great bonus is because the class sizes are so small, most graduating classes are all friends which creates a sense of community. The only downside in my option is the lack of a normal high school experience. The only clubs are academic based, like robotics, national honor society, student council, and debate. We also don’t have very many extracurricular classes, only STEM based ones really. There are no sports and no dances, and it might not matter to some people, but it feels like students miss out on a huge part of the high school experience.
