I had a great experience at Hendrick Hudson High School. Our nation has been struck with several tragedies regarding school shootings and casualties, and luckily, I never felt unsafe coming to school. We have bodyguards, have practiced lockdown drills several times, and know the rules around the school. With the school environment, bullying has never been an issue. I have never experienced harassment and unfair treatment from others myself, but I have not seen any instances of bullying occurring in the school. Peer Leadership, a program I have been a part of for two years, enables upperclassmen to interact and help first-year students throughout their incoming year into high school. We also have great teachers and students who all contribute to making the sailor community a great one! I am very thankful for being a student here for four years and look forward to my journey at Sacred Heart University.

My experience at Hen Hud was a very fruitful experience over my four years-- a time of great growth and great understanding about myself. While there are many great things to say about the school itself, notably the number of great clubs and activities to choose from, what takes the metaphorical cake in this instance is the people. Hen Hud would not be what it is without the people, kind students, facilitated by many kind teachers-- teachers who genuinely care about the next generation's education. While there are many bad teachers there too, and the administration fails to deal with them, the overall experience is not spoiled by their bad deeds.
HHHS is a great place to learn and grow as a student. There are many clubs and activities you can join to become more involved and make new friends. There is also many sports team to choose from and are all kind and supportive. The teachers at hhhs are very kind and will help you if you ask for it. Some, like all schools are a little more strict but are still very nice. As for the food, there are many options to choose from, although some lunches may be questionable. Lastly, the School is very safe. Administration has taken many precautions to guarantee the students safety.
