Henderson was a very good experience considering the circumstance that I found myself in as a newly transferred student in "covid times". Even during a period of stunted social interaction, I found people who were interested in my company and made school enjoyable. My education didn't falter either during the past years. It was full steam ahead. Henderson offers the opportunities to challenge oneself academically-- if the student chooses. My teachers required self-motivation and a certain level of accountability that pushed my marks further.
I have had an overall great experience at Henderson. There are a lot of exceptional teachers here who have had a genuinely great impact on my life. I have had many opportunities to travel, compete in competitions in other states, etc.
Although there are a lot of clubs and activities for students interested in the arts, my main criticism of Henderson is that a lot of teachers and members of administration seem to prioritize sports more than any other group. Also, kids who are great athletes always get more recognition than kids who are academically, musically, or artistically gifted.
At Henderson, I feel that my mental/physical health and safety is a priority to the faculty. There are many notably great teachers who seem to genuinely care about giving their students a great education. The school also has many fun traditions and a nice sense of community. I have had a net positive experience at Henderson and would recommend it to anyone.

Everything about the school is amazing! The environment, teachers, students, academics, sports, clubs, and facilities are all 10/10.
