HCHS is easily one of the best schools, If not the best in all of Kentucky! The school spirit is incredible, the staffulty and students are remarkable, and the drive to be successful and known is one of our main goals! I’m apart of student ambassadors which is a small group/club that takes place in our school to “bridge the gap” between the school and the community. I see many student ambassadors, myself included, running around the school looking for things to do to better the school and improve the overall view of what HCHS represents! I’m very proud to be a colonel and I would suggest HCHS over any school in Kentucky!

Henderson County High School is an amazing school. The school itself is rather large as it withholds more than 2,000 students and four different units, which are known to us students and staffulty as the blue (has an upstairs), green, red, and tech unit. The tech unit is by far our most exciting and developed unit as it gives students an upper hand in understanding the basics in every possible major a student may decide to take in order to further their education. Students can take career pathways in areas such as Agriculture, Informational Technology (IT), Health Science, Automotive Technology, Business, Marketing, Pre-Engineering, Early Childhood Education, and several more. Not only that, Henderson County High School has multiple sports teams including football, basketball, and more. My school also offers several clubs and organizations such as FFA , HOSA , FBLA just to name a few. HCHS has been amazing for me and I guarantee that anyone else attending would say the same.
Henderson County High School is the greatest High school in the Country! With the best staff and students in the whole state. I have been taught not only how to be successful in school, but in the real world. I was taught with hard work and dedication anything is possible. Although it is a big school with a lot of kids, we all are family. "Once a Colonel, always a Colonel!" I am proud to be a Henderson County Colonel!
