Something that has always kept me going, is that even though Henderson is known for how bad it is, many teachers from all over the country came to this small place and made it their mission to help us go to and through college, I used to be the type of person who had no goals, that wanted to give up, but this school changed all of that. I would never change a single thing because I feel that if something were to change, it'd lose it's power and we'd become just like any other school.

Henderson Collegiate, throughout the students' point of view, see this school as a very strict school, but has a purpose behind it all. The whole culture of the school is based on values of 1) Go to the college of your choice 2) Become good people 3) Change the world. This can both bring pros and cons to the whole school environment but in the end is to create a better future for both the students and as the future generation of the United States. I have been in this school since 4th grade and continued on to 10th grade into my high school career. The school's main purpose is to prepare us for the future, rather than just high school or just a simple person.
I personally enjoy being at Henderson Collegiate . The teachers are there for you and will support you no matter what. I first started Henderson Collegiate in the fourth grade and in the beginning it was a struggle to adjust to being in a new school with new standards and rules. The expectation was very high and the teachers ensured that we would meet them. No teacher has ever gave up on me and they know my dreams. Each person in the school will treat you like you are just family. My only feedback on what we can grow on is communication because there has been many times when I wouldn't know what was going on because of the lack of communication.
