My experience is with junior high and some highshool. HCS is a good school but very small. Basic academic classes are offered but nothing elective. No foreign language, or vocational skills in highschool. Class rooms are small. The school is located inside a church, therefore the halls are crowded and noise level in and out of classrooms is a problem.
Administration staff are wonderful and work well with what is available. Teachers are creative and genuine. Some teachers have a hard time controlling the chaos in classrooms which makes it difficult for some students to hear and learn.

It has been my experience the entire time I've been enrolled that HCS is more than just an academic institution. It is a place for growth in your academics, social skills, and even theological background. It seems apparent and instilled into the generation currently in the schooling system, the idea that all of them must Express themselves as individuals; usually done by casting out a peer Even though, at times, it appears that no one sees the outcast or heard their words, ALL the teachers look out for their students. Not simply in an academic sense, but for their wellness and betterment in all aspects of life. Should you have a problem, the faculty and teachers are always willing to hear you out and provide counsel for a solution.
I've been going to HCS for two years now and it's been a nice change from what I was doing previously. The students were very welcoming and I caught on to the system quickly and easily. The atmosphere is very relaxed and not at all stressful (for me at least). I have really enjoyed going to this school and am excited to graduate from it next spring. I can see a bright future for this school, and even tho they need some changes, I hope this school continues to grow and flourish.
