There is a teacher in that school that I don't know how but he made my child love reading, he also started to help me at home and he completely change how he use to feel about school. His name is Mr.. Sanchez, because of him even with the pandemic I have to give this school 4 star. I don't give them 5 star because a lot of teachers don't come back but they have a good new Principal now maybe things will change.
I like how the school really focuses on academics and Hector P. Garcia Middle School has good academic scores. But I feel like the art programs like music, art, and theater are not focused on enough. Those departments , at least when I was in them, did not have enough tools to let a student, like myself, flourish. Those programs have an equal significance to all the other classes, like algebra, the arts can open students up and be their voice. The art programs should be more focused on, the arts are a vital tool for young adults and students. Hector P. Garcia Middle School has very good facility, I had to get an off-campus p.e. form and they helped us through it. The facility also answer all of our questions quick and to the best of their abilities.
My experience as a parent have been very good. I meet wonderful instructors that go that extra step to make sure the students are learning and participating at school. They get involve with my child's education. The instructors go out of their way to make sure my child has a good understanding of the different subjects she is learning. They keep me inform of the different programs available to her if she needs help with anything . The instructors here have made a big difference in my daughter's life. Thank you Hector P. Garcia Middle School staff.
i like that the communication with staff, some things i would like to see changes in would be the communication with teachers, enforcing tutoring when student is failing or on the verge of failing. ive good experiences with how some teachers create great relationships with their students.i love the resources garcia offers. The way the staff engages with parents on whats going on with the school or their student
I love the way the teacher and the faculty is always involved with there students and parents alike.. another thing is that the principals do remember a lots of there students names..
We love this school for our daughter. They have a wonderful after school program as well as after school activities to keep the students busy and learning at all times. They offer the Junior National Honor Society which teaches them leadership as well being kind and helping others.
The teachers are very friendly. The school is safe. The school is always clean on the outside and inside.
We are happy with the teachers and students at this school. We love this school and we want it to stay here for a long time.
Something that I like about Hector P. Garcia Middle School is the teachers. I like the teachers because they work hard put effort and gave to deal with a lot of students.
What I like about Hector P. Garcia is that it is a great school because the teachers are real nice to the students and they do lots of activities for the school the kids here are nice and it is a great school and we want more students and people to come to this school so it can be better than it is right now.
The thing that i like about Hector P. Garcia is that every teacher cares about every student in the school. they treat everyone with care and love. I would recommend every parent to bring their kids to this school.
Students show dignity in the work they do. My child is active in several programs and enjoys every minute of her time in those activities.
I liked everything about Hector P. Garcia. I loved the library and how comfortable the school was. Teachers were nice and taught well.
The work load is average and easy to understand. The scheduling process is great it is easy to get work done faster and to the best of their ability.
The school police always walk around the school and when it is lunch time they stand guard to make sure the students are safe and no fights happen between the students. The nurses are always there to help the students when needed and are very caring to the students.
The activities are well organized although there are some restrictions due to limited income of these extracurricular activities. The clubs available are dance, choir, band, theater, art, football, and volleyball. Each teacher that organizes the clubs available try their all into teaching the student s to do their best.
This school is ok overall the education is pretty simple they have many Pre Ap classes for students and athletic programs such as volleyball, dance, cheerleading, football, band, and choir. I would not choose to go to this school again if I could start all over because it is not a magnet school, most students that go to the school are of bad character, many fights occur, and the school does not challenge the students to do better than they believe they could do to prepare them for high school.
