The teachers here are awesome and really know how to prepare you for the next stages in your life! The counsellors are super easy to talk to and the faculty and students are all extremely close-knit. Although we do not have popular sports such as basketball and football, our academics make up for a lot of it! The teachers really know their stuff and are always willing to help you out if you're lost about anything.

Throughout my time as a Health Careers student, I have been exposed to a diverse, constructive learning environment and received high quality education from my teachers. Many of the students are mature, responsible, and exceedingly passionate about their academics, and faculty members are there to assist the students when necessary and provide them with the tools and resources that will ensure their academic success. Although Health Careers does not have the sports that other high schools in our district typically have, being a student there has enabled me to challenge myself academically, gain a solid insight into topics pertaining to the medical field, and associate myself with people who also take their education seriously.
I love the opportunities that I have gotten through attending Health Careers High School. They offer many different certifications so that you can get a head-start in the medical field right out of high school. These certifications include, pharmacy, medical assistant, dental assistant, and sterile processing technician. I have my pharmacy technician and sterile processing technician and now work as a pharmacy technician at a hospital, two years after graduating high school. I also love the diversity at the school and how many people come from diverse backgrounds. There are many clubs that students can join to become involved. One thing that I would have liked to change about Health Careers was sports. I wish we had more sports available such as football or basketball. Being able to attend games and show school spirit would have been the cherry on top of my amazing high school experience.
