Come visit my school. You won't find any other high school like it. Anyone you meet that has been to my school can say that we have a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Our staff and students don't shy away when someone is in need of help. Not only do we have impeccable manners, we have passion in everything we do no matter what it is. We have an acronym called PASSION that's been instilled in us ever since we first stepped foot on campus. It reminds us of everything we stand for: Professional, Academic, Self-Oriented, Strong, Integrity, Optimistic, and Nurturing. There's something else you should know about our school its a health oriented school. So if you're looking to go into the health field this school is perfect for you. But take into consideration before you apply that we don't have sports, music, and art like other high schools do. Goodluck!

Health Careers Academy really prepares us for college like no other high school. They allow for their students to achieve higher than the credits necessary to graduation; moreover, we are able to learn hands-on skills, like dissection labs, chemical labs, CPR/first aid, monitoring blood pressure, and so many more. There is so much happening everyday in HCA and one of my favorite moments were Lemonade Day as a freshman, where we learn how to become an entrepreneur and even act on it. In addition, I enjoy to be in HOSA Club, where I am able to compete with high school students all over California, regarding the healthcare field. I believe that if anyone wants to be as involved with their community, HCA is the right place to go because HCA students are and will always be service-oriented and voluntarily take action.
Health Careers Academy High School is a great school for anyone who wants to be in the medical field. They provide multiple oppotunities such as internships, externships, and a lot of community service. Going to HCA has really changed my life because I know that if I went to any other school, I wouldn't be where I am now. HCA can get very stressful sometimes but everything has a positive outcome. The teachers at HCA do a really good job of working with the students. If they notice someone isn't understanding a topic clearly, they work with them one on one and at their own pace so that they won't fall behind. That's the good about HCA no one is left behind. It's a great school and always have a positive and calming environment. There's also many clubs and extracurricular activities for everyone.
