H.E. Corley Elementary School Reviews

My child is currently attending the 5K Montessori Magnet Program. This is the school's first year offering Montessori Magnet, so there are a ton of kinks to workout to make it a successful program. We had a major issue with a particular teacher that has caused a serious negative impact on my child's mental, emotional and educational development. The school is actively working with us on this issue. I do feel they could do more but they are genuinely making an effort and we are actually seeing results. PTO and SIC is almost non-existent in the school. Which is quite disappointing as these systems/methods could offer assured reduction and resolution of issues such as the one we already experienced not to mention what other parents have and are experiencing. Parent involvement is also seriously lacking but I believe this is related to the lack of PTO and SIC. I have hope that next year will be a great improvement with the planned PTO takeover.

The best elementary school I have ever been too, I am currently in the 6th grade, and I used to go here, and it was the best elementary school experience I really liked for 7 years.
