Hazen High School is a small town school, but not like ones you see in the movies. Yes we have our jocks and cheerleaders, but nobody is titled as an "outcast." Our football players are not conceited and our cheerleaders are not "mean girls." Since our school is so small, the student body is actually very close. Hazen High School has a community of students that actually care about each other. Certain teachers prepare their students for college, which helps us a lot. The administration knows every student by name, and are willing to do whatever it takes to help them. I love Hazen High School, and everyone who goes there does too.

Hazen High School has its ups but it also has its downs. For a small town school like Hazen, school was very beneficial to me. I will enter into my freshman year of college with 27 concurrent credit hours. Although it being a very small school Hazen can have many resources. Hazen High School can have a very positive effect on you if you allow it to have a positive effect. With Hazen being such a small town, everybody knows everybody and everything. Some people hate that about a small town, but if you think about it it can be a very good thing. The teachers not having as many students can be a great thing as in having a personal connection and more one on one attention in class. Therefore if you are having trouble or need a little bit more help on a subject the teacher has more of an opportunity to help in my opinion.
I have had a great experience at Hazen High School, my teachers have been very caring and interactive throught my 4 years. Everyone at Hazen cares about each other and will help each other however they can. I have had just as good of an education as anyone else in the state.
