Hayfork is a small community. You are able to make connections with everyone in the community. It is easy to stay involved with what's around you. People are always finding ways to help each other. There are many things to do in town, it's up to you to experience it. The sports for high school students seems to be the best part. They teachers are always open to have discussions with. Overall it's what a small community is like anywhere.
It's been an experience, I wouldn't be where I am right now if it weren't for going to Hayfork High. The teachers are somewhat nice, some know how to teach very very well, some are new and learning.
Since Hayfork Highschool is only a school of 72 kids, it really gives you that family feel to it. My graduating class has only 14 students. We all have grown up together since elementary school, and others further back. I would prefer this school over any city school because, the town we are in is so small, we have an amazing bond with the school faculty.
