We are so grateful to be a part of the Hawthorne Christian Academy Family. Our son began as a fourth grader at HCA and is now in high school. Our only regret is that we didn't find the school sooner. HCA provides a strong foundation for our young people as early as Preschool, grades 1-5, grades 6-8 and expands throughout high school. The emphasis on Christian principles, biblical studies, rigorous academics and extra-curricular activities are the core of what make HCA so GREAT! The staff is incredible and extremely helpful. HCA has truly been a blessing to our family.

Hawthorne Christian Academy is a great community of students, families, and teachers. The school's commitment is to inspire and challenge students toward spiritual maturity, to achieve academic excellence and to impact the world for Christ; and I believe HCA has done just that. The culture of HCA really makes the school a special place. There are many opportunities to participate in different sports, clubs, and music. A new turf field was just installed in the Spring of 2018 and personal Chromebooks for all high school students have been distributed. The teachers are always willing to help and will provide the resources to do so.
Its definitely a unique school, there's nothing like it, interpret that as you may. It's full of strict and old teachers, who provide an education not worth the tuition. But the people you meet there are amazing, every student is legitimately interesting and it's actually diverse. I think the people and experiences you have there are worth it but I'm not sure if I would go back. It's your choice but I think I recommend.
