I graduated from here not too long ago, and I already miss being in Haverford High School! Undoubtedly, the best thing about this school is the sense of community here. No matter what you're interested in or who you are, you'll find someone who shares similar interests! Even if you don't share similar interests at all, the faculty and the majority of the student body are all friendly enough to get to know you and to make sure that you'll get the best, possible education here.

Haverford has hundreds of clubs and every student is encouraged to join, furthering them as human beings. Teachers are accommodating to any kind of special help needed. One of the biggest things I learned was how to advocate for myself. Teachers and admin force that idea on you and looking back I am so grateful that I learned that lesson!
I am a senior and have had an overall positive experience with this school for the past four years. The only downside is block scheduling. I wanted to take many AP classes and block scheduling is not accommodating for music students, who need to give up fourth block to take music classes and therefore have drastically less time for AP classes. Also, many AP classes are only offered during one or two blocks, and I have had to take several APs as independent studies or online.
The counseling department was very helpful during the college application process and helped me get into a top nationally-ranked school. The one place it lacks support is with SAT subject tests, which I never heard mentioned during college prep counseling assemblies.
