Haverford High is a very nice school to learn at, almost all of the teachers are very kind, understanding, and good at what they do. They also almost all offer after school times that you can ask for help if you are struggling in a subject. Haverford also offers a wide variety of sports and clubs, so everyone can find an extracurricular activity that they enjoy. Unfortunately a lot of emphasis is put on the football team and achievements from other clubs or sports is often undershadowed, but I wouldn’t necessarily say this is the administrations fault.

Overall a pretty positive experience! No school will ever be perfect but I have definitely had more positive experiences rather than negative ones, and it really has made the person I am today. From the teachers I have grown close to, the friends I have made, the classes I have learned to love, the classes I have pushed through even though they may have been difficult or not interesting, and the abundant amount of activities I have gotten myself involved in, I have such great things to say about the school I am sad to be leaving in June. When things have been rough, all of the students work together to keep on making it a fantastic place and I would not have ever wished to go anywhere else for my 4 years of high school.
Haverford High School was a great place to learn as well as a great place to make friends. They offer a wide selection of classes that fit not only to the state curriculum but classes that allow students to discover and test out their interests. For me personally, I have always been interested in business and the business education department they have helped me hone in on what part of business I actually wanted to go into which was entrepreneurship. The only suggestion I have to make the school better would be to add classes that teach kids life skills. These classes could be called Life management courses and consist of topics such as how to pay taxes, how to fix a car, how to cook, and how to buy stock etc. The goal of these classes would be to better prepare students for life ahead of them after high school.
