I really enjoyed my time attending Hattiesburg High School. Although there had been a stigma attached to this particular high school, I did not shy away from wanting to attend. In fact, I adamantly wanted to spend my four years of high school here! There was indeed a learning environment that took place and helped to educate the students. Truth be told, there were so many intelligent, bright, smart, and creative students that attended this high school, and got overlooked. The advance placement courses were filled with such students! Overall, my high school experience at Hattiesburg High School was really, fun, exciting, and great!

Hattiesburg High School extra curricular programs is what I like about it the most. The programs such as Health Science 2, JMG(Jobs for Mississippi Graduates), and Football are all programs who made HHS a very influential school for me to want to continue my education. What I would like to change about the school is the administration to focus a bit more on being on the same page of disciplinary actions. Instead of just saying different things when ask what to do about disrespectful students and fighting.
Not very good teachers, counselors, and administration. I attended there for all four years of my high school experience and am now a college freshman. As a freshman in college, Hattiesburg High did not prepare me at all for college. My teachers did not teach me proper studying skills nor did I have good teachers at all. My physics teacher quit and the school failed to get a proper replacement so taking physics here in college was very tough as I had to work harder than anyone else here.
