Hartland Elementary School Reviews

I graduated from HES and went on to attend Hanover High. I did not feel prepared whatsoever and I had graduated 4th out of my class of 26. Many students at HES didn't value school and some of the teachers could not have been less unenthusiastic. My teachers generally lacked experience and the ability to make classes exciting. Much of the curriculum felt pointless and lessons seemed to drag on forever. I understand the importance of education, but without my own motivation, I would've failed my classes at Hanover. HES did the bare minimum. The workload was not enough to teach students study skills. Teachers and administrators were nice for the most part, but that doesn't make up for the fact that the school was and still is poorly run. If you’re a parent looking to live in a quaint little town in VT, sure pick Hartland. But please, if you want your children to succeed, send them to a private school or pay to get them into the Dresden school district. HES was a waste of time.
