I absolutely love my high school. The kids are like family as well as teachers. Through every struggle, theyve been there. Last year, August 31, 2016, I came to Hartford with my nose completely shattered by a student at another school. When I arrived to Hartford in a nasal cast, nobody laughed. People invited me to sit with them, the teachers invited me to join clubs and sports, and everyone from the students to the administrators showed me a love so powerful, it could bring a grown man to tears. I love this town and these people and I wouldn’t change a thing. My parents and I are so grateful for this school, and these people.

Well, I truly love my school and what we stand for. We stand for mainly academics because we are a focus school under Hackett School District. Our school is in a great need of better computers and college readiness skills. I think we need more recruiters coming to my school to talk about different careers and colleges. But overall, my school is great and is really trying to increase our test scores.
This school is closing. But, when I went there last year it was the worst experience of my life. The teachers do not prepare you for college.
