Hart High School has been good to me for the last three years, and is continuing to do so for my last year. There are a variety of clubs, three of which I've taken part in: CSF, Project Linus, and Key Club. I've met such amazing teachers who really do care for their students, and want them to succeed. I've also made great friends along the years, as it is super easy to connect with people. All the school's brunch activities and rallies are super fun and make the students interact; I found myself participating. The school also has done a hispanic heritage month which holds a special place in my heart, considering, I am hispanic myself. They've given many great resources that I've taken use of: library nights with tutors available, teachers available at lunch for class help, and access to books and computers whenever needed. I have done well socially, and academically, to which I owe all to this school.

Hart District has very good schools, but also not so good ones. I wish that the District would put the same emphasis on equipping, training, sports, arts, etc, in all the schools the same way as they do on schools that have more money. All kids have the same needs and should have the same opportunity no matter what race or how much money they have. Another thing I have noticed is that is very hard to get rid of some teachers. Bad teachers should be penalized and not just transferred somewhere else. I have met wonderful teachers as well, they deserve my respect. One thing I do have to say I like is the parent involvement. The district provides with a lot of information workshops throughout high school.
I love the honors and AP teachers. They are really good at teaching but are also emotionally involved in their students. They see if you're not feeling well physically or mentally and truly care. Same with the administration. I got into some tough situations and the counselors and assistant principals were always there to support me and help me fight my problems. Some things that could probably improve are the food. It's just really not great, but thankfully I'm able to bring my own food to school.
