Harrison Central Elementary Reviews

My son is autistic and this is his fourth school. Compared to the other three schools, the interventions in place for children requiring individualized education plans are severely lacking. This is also the first school where we pay for school lunch. If we owe ten or more dollars, our son is fed American cheese on white bread. That's extremely frustrating.
On the other hand, his educators are wonderful with him. They are lenient when it comes to his nervous pacing, they are on top of it when he needs a sensory break, and any signs of bullying are addressed immediately. I feel comfortable when my son is at school, knowing he is being treated very well.
The problems I do have are small and miniscule and don't directly affect his education.
