My experience at Harmony Science Academy Pflugerville has been fairly good. They offer many challenging classes that let students grow as learners. There are little things about Harmony that aren't perfect, but overall it is a great school!

What I loved about Harmony Science Academy was how diverse it was. I immigrated from Sri Lanka to America when I was 12 and seeing more kids with cultural backgrounds similar to mine was comforting. The teachers were always very caring and supporting, and they have always encouraged me to strive for the best no matter if I fail. The only change I would wish is for the admin to listen to the students more and better their communication with them. It is sometimes very hard and conflicting for the students to understand some actions the admin take especially when it comes to discipline and school activities because the admin are too busy keeping everything strictly regulated. Having a more open and stronger and more frequent communication with the students would do wonders I believe.
The thing I liked most about Harmony was how many different classes one could take. For example, you could take a science class as part of your pathway while also taking a different class for another pathway, like art or graphic design. The same thing could be said for clubs; while some clubs are less appreciated than others, there are a lot of clubs for students to partake in. Going back to classes for a bit, some of the teachers are really nice and actually teach their material in an easy to understand way.

I do have some problems regarding the school however. The admins sometimes take a long time to respond to an email, which is very inconvenient especially to us seniors, who are already graduating and moving on to college. Some of the lunch items they have is sometimes either undercooked or overall just disgusting to look at/eat. The bathrooms as well are very messy, though I think this is probably due to the students and not the faculty members.
