I have assisted to Harmony Science Academy- Dallas from Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade. This year, as my last year in this school I could really say my school has become better. Academics have always been a priority at my school pushing all of us to go to colleges and get scholarships. But from time to time we wanted to do something fun and we finally incorporated events like homecoming, volleyball teams, soccer teams, more dances, pep rallys. Throughout the 13 yrs of experience being there, I've always had a really good teacher- student experience as our classes were small. Parent involvement was able an important thing at our school for events, fundraising, and for their own students. Our school might've been small, and way way different from public schools, but for me it was a good place to be myself. Most of the students in my graduating class I've known since elementary. This helped for all of us to have a greater bond that our school provided for us.

How shall I start with the upbringing yet descension of Harmony Science Academy at Dallas. The most obvious point, the food is bad, compared to some other schools it may even look below standards, however I believe students have accustomed to their bland or delirious tastes. Second, we don't exactly have what one would consider clubs, or at least interesting clubs, since the school only focuses on academics we don't really get to act like children in class, but try to make our own time. Academics, however, we supposedly excel in that subject: it is true they do offer AP and Dual credit classes, but if there are not enough people who are interested you can say good-bye, but its understandable. In a sense we are limited in this school, we are given opportunity to certain extents, but they could easily be cut off, it actually happens often.
