The school's location is in a relatively good area near complexes like shops and restaurants. The school is small, so it's easy to navigate. There is a very diverse class of students. The school is safe, with no reported shootings, drugs, smoking, or drinking in the area. The school gives students SAT classes, GT, NHS, CRLP, and so forth to help for college readiness. Since it's a relatively small school, there aren't many people to talk to, so you're limited to a small number of friends. This also hurts a student's class ranking. The school is mainly a STEM school, so there aren't many music-and-arts or sports-related classes and clubs, neither are there many languages to choose from. The school forces students to take tutorials and limit what classes they take based on a student's scores. The food is average and there's not much to choose from. There are strict dress codes and tardy policies, and students aren't allowed to bring a backpack to class.

I have personally had a great experience in Harmony. It is a school that truly emphasizes in the STEM curriculum. One of the biggest benefits I have seen in school is the amount of counselors available per grade level , ultimately allowing you to get more face to face interaction with your counselors whom help you a lot. Especially during Senior Year. The population is also a whole lot more smaller than those of a public school which I think is quite incredible.I think that anyone who wants to strive and become a better student with hopes of becoming some form of an engineer or doctor , this is the right place to be. However if you hope to play processional soccer or get drafted for the NFL or NBA , this is probably not the place for you. Great school!
Harmony Science Academy - Houston High is a fairly decent school to attend considering the STEM programs and endorsements the school offers. For students who are passionate or interested in the engineering field, such as I, will find it a bit challenging in club activities but the experiences will prove to be fruitful in the long wrong. I have been involved in the STEM field for the entirety of my high school years, and I have greatly enjoyed the programs. The academic system has potential to improve, such as many other schools, but otherwise the diversity withing he school environment makes for great socialization and a spectacular high school life!
